Blauser and Justice Have Huge Games in Maddux's Return to Wrigley

This is a 1993 MLB season replay using Replay Baseball

April 5, 1993

Greg Maddux made his Braves debut on Opening Day against his former team in his former home ballpark. Maddux was not sharp but was good enough as the Braves offense jumped all over Cubs pitching. Jeff Blauser homered three times. David Justice went 5-5 including two homers. The Braves would get the win 11-4

Around the Majors:

Mike Piazza hit two homers as the Dodgers beat the Marlins 5-2. It was the first game in franchise history for the Marlins. Chris Sabo hit a two run shot in the Bottom of the 7th and the Reds would go on to beat the Expos 3-2. The Royals would beat the Red Sox as Kevin Appier out dueled Roger Clemens.
